Where Is The Avista Located?
The Avista Resort has a beachfront location in the Ocean Drive section on North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Located at 300 N Ocean Blvd, you'll love being within walking distance to the heart of NMB; Main Street. When you're not walking to local bars, restaurants and shops, other necessary stops during your beach vacation are just a short drive or Uber (taxi) ride away. One of the best things about staying at Avista Resort is that you can have a care-free vacation even without a car.
On-site Amenities
If you're looking for a hotel near Main St that has all of the right amenities, Avista is going to be a top contender. The outdoor amenities at this beach resort in North Myrtle Beach include a large lazy river, two hot tubs, a kiddie splash pool and two oceanfront pools. As an added bonus for adults, The Avista Resort has a seasonal poolside bar called the Sip-N-Dip. A great spot during the summer to grab a refreshing cocktail or bite to eat.
Outdoor amenities aside, this hotel has an impressive list of indoor amenities to enjoy during your vacation. For those of you who don't want to skip your daily fitness routine, you can take full advantage of the on-site fitness room/gym. Conveniently located on the 5th floor of the hotel, the workout room is equipped with ellipticals, stationary bikes and weight machines.
Looking for a late night drink without having to leave the comfort of the resort? The Avista Resort has an on-site bar and lounge (called Treetop Lounge) located on the 4th floor of the North Tower. Also, the hotel offers its guests access to the on-site restaurant (Just Off Main) located on the 1st floor. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, the restaurant is located just off of the lobby.
Parking at The Avista Resort
Guests bringing a car will be relieved to know that there is an abundance of parking options available. There's spaces available on the ground-level of the resort itself, as well as a covered parking garage across the street for overflow parking. If for some reason the parking garage is full, there's additional parking on each side of the resort. Typically, guests are allowed one parking spot per bedroom.
Vacation Condo Rentals
We were pleasantly surprised with the condo rentals available at the Avista. Upon first walking in, you can't help but notice the unusually high ceilings. The perk about having high ceilings in your condo is that they make the space seem a lot bigger than it really is. During your stay you'll have access to in-room amenities such as a fully-equipped kitchen, private balcony with a direct oceanfront view or view of the city. For business travelers or kids who can't put down the tablet or computer, you'll have complimentary access to the resort-wide wireless internet.
